Book of Condolence for His Highness Prince Karim Al-Hussaini, Aga Khan IV

On 4 February, 2025, His Highness Prince Karim Al-Hussaini, Aga Khan IV, the 49th hereditary Imam of the Shia Ismaili Muslims, passed away peacefully at the age of 88, in Lisbon, Portugal, surrounded by his family.

The funeral ceremony for His Highness The Aga Khan IV, took place on Saturday, 8 February, 2025, at the Ismaili Centre Lisbon. Thereafter, His Highness The Aga Khan IV was laid to rest at a private burial ceremony on Sunday, 9 February, 2025, in Aswan, Egypt.

In his honour, a Book of Condolence has been opened at the Ismaili Jamatkhana and Centre from Monday, 10 February, 2025, for those wishing to pay their respects in person. The book will remain open until Thursday, 13 February 2025, between 10 AM and 3 PM, every day.
