The Brahmaputra's tale

Internationally acclaimed director Jahnu Barua from Assam treats the river as its main character, as the creator, sustainer and a natural life force supporting the people and ecosystems, which flourish on the banks of the river. The 54-minute documentary, screened recently at Hotel Sarina, Banani, has been produced and conceived by the award winning journalist and author of Bhopal, Lessons of a Tragedy, Sanjoy Hazarika. He also made a presentation of the documentary and responded to the queries after the screening for the benefit of the spectators, visitors and journalists.
