Aadil Hoque seen with his works

At the age of 7, Aadil was extremely hyperactive, virtually non-verbal with unmanageable aggressive behaviour. His fascination for history developed in him a passion for Ancient Egypt. The intensive stimulation from his teachers in his home-based programme in Oxford, UK opened many doors for him - he began to read, write, draw and speak communicatively.

Aadil has painted in a wide range of media water colours, acrylics and oils. He is eager to try his hand at oriental paintings and sculpture. At present he is busy with a series of miniature paintings on papyrus which viewers will be able to see along with many other pieces of artwork in his forthcoming second solo art exhibition to be held at the Bengal Gallery from December 18 to 24.
