Celebrities ushering in Pahela Baishakh

Farzana Brownia hosts the TV show Esho Baishakh

Hosted and directed by Farzana Brownia, the show will feature cultural and TV personalities Afzal Hossain, Emdad Haq, Biplob, Alif, Preetam, Kaniz Almas, Santosh Mandol, Munni Shaha, Monalisa and Faisal.

Tagore artiste Rezwana Chowdhury Bonya will recite a poem, while a song written and composed by Preetam, titled Jhhar-ero danaye chorey elorey Baishakh, will make its debut on the show. Artistes of Chhayanaut will perform the traditional song ushering in the New Year: Esho hey Baishakh.
