Jahanara Abedin, Director General of Shilpakala Academy Ahmad Nazir, Director General of National Museum Mahmudul Haque, Director of Bengal Foundation Luva Nahid Chowdhury and Director of Bengal Gallery of Fine Arts Subir Chowdhury were present at the event as special guests.

The art competition was held as part of the month-long celebration of the birth anniversary of the legendary artist of the country. Jointly organised by Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy, Bangladesh National Museum and Bengal Foundation, the celebration begins today with exhibitions of Zainul's artworks simultaneously at the three galleries.
