Amongst the many child artistes who have made a place for themselves in the media today, Oindrilla has been successful. At the age of one- and-a- half, Oindrilla was introduced to the media world through the moviePursohkar. At the age of four, she won an award for young models. At five, Oindrilla began taking Kathak lessons from Shibli Mohammed and Bharatnatyam from Belayat Hossain. She also took lessons in classical music from Sanjeev De and Rabindra Sangeet from Sadi Mohammed. At the age of six, Oindrilla acted in her first television drama,Dola.

To date, Oindrilla has acted in 35 dramas. Currently the artiste leads a busy life with her husband and their only daughter Adrita.

'My idol is Rabindranath Tagore.

I believe that talent should be judged by quality. Proper guidance is also needed, through which one can display one's talent.

I have many dreams. I want to be happy and satisfied in my personal life, in my career and also stand out in the academic field.

True, I have had some weird experiences with fans. For my honeymoon I had gone to Australia and Malaysia, naturally thinking that nobody would recognise me there. However, the surprising thing was that in any Bangladeshi gathering, I would be recognised and bombarded with greetings and questions of sorts.

Despite my success as an actress, my ambition is to join a corporate firm after completing my education.
