'Close up 1' in full swing

The audition round in Dhaka, kicked off on July 10 at the BIAM auditorium. It has already completed its fourth triumphant day and featured a record number of enthusiastic participants aged between 16 to 30, says a press release. As the number of registered participants at the Dhaka centre has already set a new record of 22,000, they are all expected to participate in the audition round which will run till July 17. The audition round in Dhaka centre is divided into 11 judgement panels comprising 22 eminent music personalities.

In the audition round in Dhaka, about 3,700 contestants had already participated so far. Of these, 107 were in for the selection round. On the fourth day, 700 aspirants put their best foot forward. At the end of the day, 21 talents made it to the next selection round. The selection round will feature only those contestants who have passed the hurdles of the audition round. The selection round will start on July 16 and continue till July 19. In this round the judge panel consists of the two popular artistes Shakila Zafar, Kumar Bishwajit and renowned music composer, Ahmed Imtiaz Bulbul.

The second round of the talent hunt will start right after the completion of selection round with the chosen participants from all the 11 centres.
