Closing ceremony of the silver Jubilee celebration

One of the two BFA-announced articles--The Role of Film in the Development of Value and Culture in the National Level, the main topic of the seminar, was not presented by Manjare Hassin Murad. Music personality Gazi Mazharul Anwar read the other article on A Few Problems in Our Films and Some Indications to Solve Them. Presided over by Dr. Sakhawat Ali Khan, the discussants of the seminar were renowned filmmakers Masih Uddin Shaker, Sohanur Rahman Sohan, Tanvir Mokammel and professor of North South University Abdus Selim. The discussants, however, did not praise the paper.

Mohammed Sirajul Islam, Additional Secretary of the Information Ministry was the chief guest while Chashi Nazrul Islam was the special guest of the closing ceremony. Aminul Islam, Director General of BFA, presided over the session.

For some unknown reasons instead of the scheduled film Ora Egaro Jon, BFA announced the screening of Hangor Nodi Grenade directed by Chashi Nazrul Islam at the eleventh hour. They did not even announce the change in the schedule. As a result, BFA could not avoid questions and enigmas related to the governmental organisation.
