Cultural night

A drama filled with poetry, music and dance Ogo Shono Ke Bajay will be staged at the National Museum on September 27 in order to raise funds for building the new Chayanaut premises. Sharmila Bandyapadhyay is the person behind the concept of this one and half-hour musical-dance drama, where Sanjida Khatoon and Lubna Mariyam also play a vital role.

The play, based on Tagore's Banshi, will have eminent personalities of the country namely, Subarna Mustafa who has worked on the script and will recite the poetry, Meeta Haq who will sing the compositions and Sharmila herself has choreographed the dance movements.
