Cultural programme at Bangla Academy

To observe the day, Bangla Academy arranged a recitation and musical soiree at Nazrul Stage, Bangla Academy in the evening of December 16. The programme was divided into two sessions. The first session featured the recitation programme. Mohammad Shaheb Ali, Mohammad Afzal Hossain, and Saira Habib recited poems.

The second session featured a musical soiree with songs related to patriotism and freedom. Kalyani Ghosh, Sheikh Zamir Uddin, Bipul Bhattacharya, Shahin Samad, Mohiuzzaman Chowdhury, Abdul Halim Khan, Abu Bakar Siddique, Ferdous Ara and others performed to a receptive audience.
