The cultural programme incorporated Rabindra Sangeet, Nazrul songs, patriotic and folk songs, along with dance, poetry recitation and mini plays.

Children from different school and clubs and some from Shishu Nattyam attended the cultural function. Among the actors in the play were Anik, Toma, Arpita, Shahin, Manik, Juell, Sushmita and Nadim. A cross section of local people and the guardians of the children were present at the function.

Niaz Muhammad Khan Bito, founder secretary of Brahman-baria Shishu Nattyam and organiser of this function, asserted that they hold such cultural functions every year. To generate awareness of culture among the younger generation is a major objective of Brahmanbaria Shishu Nattyam, he added.
