Cultural programme on indigenous people

At a discussion, the indigenous people reiterated their call to the government to take steps for constitutional recognition of their rights and protection of their traditional culture.

After the discussion, a colourful cultural programme was held where the indigenous people presented their traditional dances, songs and drama. Indigenous women also performed a dance ushering in the 'rainy season'.
