Cultural Programme for mass awareness on HIV/AIDS

Let There Be Light, an social organization has started an innovative cultural programme to generate mass awareness on HIV/AIDS. The ongoing programme starting in Dhaka will end on December 1, through observing the World AIDS Day 2005. The cultural programme includes Jarigan (a type of folksong), street drama and an interactive question-answering session. 12 programmes out of 44 have already taken place. The programmes have created a very positive impact in raising mass awareness on HIV/AIDS and it's prevention.Let There Be Light will arrange the similar programmes at 10 different venues in Sylhet and will also organise human chains and rallies at four zones of the capital city in the second phase.
