Cultural Programme on spirit of Liberation War

The event began with our National Anthem. Subsequently, artistes of Srot Abritti Shangshad presented recitation on the spirit of freedom. Then artistes from Udichi performed songs on the Liberation War. Mamun Zahir Khan and Borna both rendered patriotic songs. Jhorna Sarkar and Naila Taranum presented two solo recitations. Somor Barua, one of the artistes of Swadhin Bangla Betar Kendra, performed Gono Sangeet.

The event wrapped up with the main attraction of the evening, the projection of the documentary Nine Months to Freedom, by S Shukdev of India. Some clips of the 1971 genocide were also shown.
