Two characters in an orgy of finding the meaning of life from a letter in the absurd play Dead Letter by Natyabhumi
In Chandan Sengupta's play Dead Letter, we get the story of three vagabonds--Auviram, Sripad and Manoda, who meet together at a place where post-office authority throws letters having no specific address. The vagabond trio engage themselves in different interesting anticipations on those useless letters that will never reach to their destination. They want to find out the meaning of life going through these letters.

Sanjoy Kar is the director of the absurd play. Debol Chatterjee is the light designer while Diponkar Bordhan Roy is the set designer.


Dharmagola

The historical play Dharmagola is based on the glorious revolution of the Riang tribe against the Tripura empire. Sanjoy Kar in his play narrates the story of the Riang hero Ratanmoni Riang, who led his tribe for independence just after the Second World War. The play belongs to Ethnic Theatre.

Sanjoy Kar is the director of the play. Set and light are designed by Diponkar Bordhan Roy and Debol Chatterjee.
