Delving into the human psyche
In today's chaotic world, the young artists took it upon themselves to dwell into the reasons for the present day decay. With the theme of "Search for human rights", the foursome's works mirrored widespread political unrest, deprivation, discrimination, gender inequality and above all the juxtaposition of the dark side of the human mind against the good.
Tofazzal Hossain Emon skillfully traced human history from evolution to the present day. He also tried to delve into some common concerns. Penalty Peace is a work depicting the plight of hawkers who have no fundamental rights. Likewise, our Liberation War is portrayed vividly in his work titled Hope, Devastation and Broken Dream. The work zeroes into the indescribable brutality of the war and the shattered dreams of the freedom fighters. Living Cruelty, Loan Braver, Crying Wilderness, Destiny and Helpless Sex are the other remarkable works of the artist.

Wind Car is about the rickshaw pullers, who serve us selflessly. The conflicts of the human mind are represented in the work titled Thorn. Tarek's other important works include Bridge Relation, Bounded and Demolishing.
Struggle of life, Deprivation, Grief, Sound Sleep, World of Politics and Immersion, by Mehedi Hasan Shajib won plaudits from the viewers.
Murad Ahmed dealt with the intellectual helplessness of man in his work titled Chain.
Apart from these, about 50 masks featuring different human emotions also attracted attention from students as well as teachers.
"The favourable response of the students is our only inspiration. We hope to do even better in the future," said Shajib.
