The discussants talked about the role of Nazrul and Sirajee in our history. Justice Abdur Rauf said, "Both Nazrul and Sirajee made immense contribution to freedom movement against the British. Both believed in humanitarianism and were secular by nature." Dr Ashraf Siuddiui said, "We need to know more about Nazrul and Sirajee for our own sake and for the sake of our social development."

Majid Mahmood in his presentation said, "During the freedom movement against the British, what Ismail Hossain Sirajee started with his Anal Prabaho, Kazi Nazrul Islam gave that a momentum with his Agni-beena. Both are equally significant in the history."
