Documentary on martyred intellectuals

Sensing an imminent defeat, the Pakistani occupation army and their local collaborators abducted frontline Bengali intellectuals and professionals on December 14 in 1971 and killed them to cripple the nation intellectually. The killers dragged renowned academics, litterateurs, doctors, engineers, journalists and other eminent personalities out of their homes in Dhaka and massacred them. The documentary focuses on how the family members of those martyred intellectuals' view the present days. National professor Kabir Chowdhury, Professor Sirajul Islam Chowdhury, journalist Shaheen Reza Noor (son of shaheed journalist Siraj Uddin Hossain) and Shyamoli Nasreen Chowdhury will share their experiences during the war in the documentary.

The documentary is directed by Amjad Kabir Chowdhury. Biplob Rahman did the research work for the documentary.
