Models sashay down the ramp

The participants were 98 established fashion houses of the country in 18 categories. The crowd was dazzled with the ramp models' colourful costumes. Popular fashion outlet OG was awarded the best house.

The programme was divided into two parts. The first part was a discussion session while the second part showcased superb fashion queues. The most interesting part of the show was the use of Bangla songs of yesteryears. Rabindra Sangeet, folk tunes--Anondodhara bohichhe bhuboney, Banshi shuney ar kaaj nai, Duranta ghurni, Baula ke banailorey and others--during the ramp queues.

Moreover, interludes of SI Tutul's Keu prem korey, Alam Ara Minu's Ei gayeri mey ami, Bappa Majumder's Kodin porei chhuti, Shuvra Dev's Nachon sundari and Ayub Bachchu's Nodirey enthralled the audience. The choreography and set design depicting the Bangalee culture were done by Nilanjana Palli.
