Artistes rendering a chorus at the programme

Two renowned litterateurs Dr Md Reazaul Hoque and Dr Shashwato Bhattacharya spoke on the occasion. Besides, Secretary of Rangpur unit Udichi Al-Amin and Secretary of Rangpur unit Sammilito Sangkritik Jote Shakwat Ranga also took part in the discussion.

Dr Md Reazul Hoque said, that people would remember him for the aesthetic values he has introduced in his poetry and songs.

Dr Shashwata discussed the obscurities in Tagore's song and poetry. In his words, " Tagore was spiritual to some extent."

The president of Sammilito Sangskritik Jote, Rangpur unit Kazi Mohammed Zunnun presided over the discussion.

The discussants talked about the valuable contribution of the Nobel laureate to the Bengali literature, music and art.

Five cultural organisations: Shatabdir Ahban, Biva Sangeet Academy, Udichi Rangpur unit, Shilpakala Academy and Borne Academy participated at the programme.
