An evening of music and fireworks

Officials of Concord and the comic characters cut the anniversary cake

On March 17, FK celebrated its fourth anniversary with well-attended performances by the front ranking musical icons of the country. The concert featured James, Ayub Bachchu, Souls, Habib, Biplob, Asif, Hasan, Parthibo, and Sustain. The programme also included a dance show; dazzling fireworks, a game show and a raffle draw with exciting prizes.

The concert at FK's Ashulia venue, was scheduled to begin at 4:00pm. Long before that music lovers began to throng the FK premises. With a popular number, Asif kicked off the concert. Hasan performed some popular numbers, which won applause.

Chairperson of Concord Group, SM Kamaluddin and deputy managing director of the group, Shariar Kamal spoke on the occasion. The chairperson declared Tuesday as 'Family Day', wherein the public will get special privileges.

There were treats, including a huge anniversary cake for everyone. Artistes in the guise of Prince Ashu and Princess Lia cut the cake along with the FK theme song. Later, fire works entertained the audience. The magnificent flames in red, yellow and green transformed the event into a colourful affair.

Ayub Bachchu's all time favourite numbers Meye, Ural Dibo Akashey and Shei Tumi--- with non-stop performances, skillful drumming, good guitar works and melodious vocals-- were wonderful pieces. Hundreds of excited fans applauded his exhilarating performance.

Next on stage was James. In close succession he enthralled the crowd with his famous numbers such as Ami Taray Taray Rotiya Dibo and Mira Bai. The crowd joined in singing and dancing as the whole Fantasy Kingdom wore a festive look.

Popular country singer Habib wrapped up the event with some well-known tracks--a performance that an enthusiastic audience enjoyed thoroughly. In sum, the unforgettable evening will linger on in the memory of the audience.
