A festival of satirical plays

"All of our productions in the festival--Habuchandra Gabuchandra, Janotar Rangoshala, Golmatha Chokhamatha and Aami Birangana Bolchhi--deliver strong messages against evil and injustice. We have included the Centre for Asian Theatre's (CAT) Brand, as young theatre activists have much to learn from this quality production, particularly directorial guidelines and histrionic skills required for a good play. Moreover, we have a very good rapport with the Indian group Abhash. They will stage four plays in the festival. Of these, Swikarokti deals with the recent Gujarat incidents where many innocent people died," Lucky added.

The contemporary, socially relevant themes should make for a successful theatre festival.
