Film Festival in city
The films of almost 30 countries will be shown. Altogether 21 cinema halls of Dhaka and Narayanganj would be screening these films. A few of the films of this festival will be shown in the Central Public Library and the National Museum Auditorium. This festival will continue till September 25.
Three of the films would be awarded according to the selection of the Jury Board.
For all latest news, follow The Daily Star's Google News channel. The best film will receives 6,000 US dollar and the other two selected ones 2000 US dollars each. The best film-maker will be given a certificate and the festival souvenir.
Dr Lester James Pares and famous Indian film-maker, Mrinal Sen, will be present as honourable guests.
The films will be shown in Chittagong from September 27 to October 1.
