Final round of Close up 1 'Tomakai Khujche Bangladesh' begins in Dhaka

After covering 11 districts, the first round of musical talent search, Close up 1 'Tomakai Khujche Bangladesh' began in Dhaka on July 10 and will continue till July 17 at the Biam Auditorium, says a press release. About 22, 000 enthusiasts have registered so far for the contest. In Dhaka a record number of 1,100 aspirants have faced the audition, out of which 49 have made the grade.

An aggregate of 15,000 young talents (in the age group of 16-30) have competed from 10 centres. So far, 75 promising talents have been chosen in the second round.

The selection round of Dhaka will begin on July 16 and continue till July 19. The final round will be in Dhaka, from where the most talented singer will emerge. There will be 11 judgement panels, comprising 22 eminent musical personalities of the country. In the selection round, the main judges are Imtiaz Bulbul, Shakila Zafar and Kumar Biswajit.
