Md Fokhrul Islam and an art work by the artist
Md Fokhrul Islam's 10- day solo exhibition at Lahore, Islamabad, finished recently. His last solo was held at Italy, this year. His latest display in Bangladesh was seen in the joint venture at the Institute of Fine Arts, Dhaka University, September, last year. He has participated in various group and solo exhibits at home, in venues, including the various Asian Biennales, at Shilpakala Academy, Zainul Gallery, and that of Alliance Francaise. He has also exhibited at Kolkata and Japan.

Fokhrul won an award at the 1ST Artists' Support Competition at Gallery , Goho, Japan .

At present he is a freelance artist, full of confidence and passionate about his medium. He paints mind-boggling landscapes in black printer's ink and mustard oil on paper.
