Sports Zone celebrates its 3rd anniversary

A glitzy fashion show and an electrifying concert during the celebration
Nothing is more enjoyable than engaging oneself in indoor activities this rainy season. And that's why the mechanised city dwellers did not want to miss the opportunity for entertainment on the occasion of Sports Zone's 3rd anniversary celebration.

With the interesting title, Tritiyo Borshofurti, the amusement centre arranged a 3-day long celebration from July 7 to 9. The first day of the event began at 9 am with different games and competitions, varying from bowling to snooker, video games to skating, and body-fitness.

Apart from this, the energised crowds, especially the children, enjoyed the magic show by Shahin Shah followed by the traditional custom of cutting birthday cakes. Popular singer Kanak Champa enthralled the audience with her popular numbers in the evening.

The usual game competitions and the magic show by Shahin Shah were held on the second day also. However, it was the popular VJ and model Sajal who stole the show with his children's fashion show, modern dance and songs.

On the concluding day, Ayub Bachhu was invited to give it a perfect end. The audience and the people roaming around the different compounds were engrossed and mesmerised with the LRB-star's performance.

Sports Zone--a dreamland for the fun lovers, has several categories of indoor fun. With the Strike Zone, young and trendy people can strike out with sports like billiards, snooker and bowling with glow light ambience containing 3D animation graphics and digital surround sound. Safe, wholesome and amusing for children, the Fun Zone contains kiddie rides, magic train and video games. Especially the mind bowling Turbo Ride Theatre can give techno-geeks a lot of cool experiences. For the gym freaks or fitness nuts, there is the Health Zone where one can have the modern fitness treatment with sauna and Turkish bath.

'It's a place for family comfort with a commercial aspect', said Moshiur Rahman, the Managing Director of Sports Zone.

A raffle draw and prize giving ceremony also attracted the fun lovers. A children's business fair and an art exhibition by children also added extravaganza to the celebration.
