Golam Mustafa's last serial goes on air from today

In Amader Golpo, a thirteen episode serial, Golam Mustafa will be seen in the first six episodes and in the beginning part of the seventh. 'The last shooting of his life was probably on the 9th or 10th of December 2002,' the producer of the serial Mujibur Rahman cannot exactly recollect the date, but he remembers that the veteran actor looked very sick and was smoking continuously. 'We all requested him not to smoke so much. In reply he asked us to let him smoke for that day only as he was not feeling very well, and that he would quit smoking after that day. Just a little later he became very sick and we took him to his home. We could never imagine that it would be his last day in shooting,' says Rahman. During his ailing days, Mustafa wanted to know whether the parts in which he had already acted would be kept if he failed to come back, 'and we did assure him that it was out of question not to keep them,' says Rahman.
The story of Amader Golpo is about a writer, Imrul Chowdhury. His daughter Chaitali is a university student and his son is a PhD holder from America. Unmarried actress Naznin Khan is their neighbour. Her niece and nephew live with her. Among others, a son and two daughters of once-famous actor Rahman are the residents of this house. Chaitali's elder brother comes back home and when he tries to arrange his sister's marriage with Jinnat, who has also returned from America, the love between Chaitali and Kopol, the nephew of Naznin, gets exposed. Tushi, another resident of this house gets involved in acting and is a little misguided.
The story proceeds connecting all these incidents and characters in a good bondage.
