Golapjan hits a milestone

Rokeya Rafiq Baby (C ) with co-actors in Golapjan

On the special evening on April 21, Rokeya Rafiq Baby, who performs the titular character in the play, will be honoured. Eminent educationist Sardar Fazlul Karim is the chief guest while Hena Das, Mamunur Rashid, Sara Zaker, and Shirin Akhtar are the special guests at the ceremony.

Golapjan is written and directed by SM Solaiman. The play focuses on first person accounts by inhabitants of Old Dhaka and captures their colourful lifestyle of the inhabitants of Old Dhaka.
