Golden jubilee of Pather Panchali celebrated

The programme was chaired by president of DUFS, Hafizur Rahman Tito. Film directors Subhash Dutta, Tanvir Moqammel, Satyajit Ray exponent Anwar Hossain Pintu and eminent cultural personality Wahidul Haque participated in the discussion. A paper titled Satyajiter Chalachchitra was also presented at the event.

The programme also included screenings of Pather Panchali and a documentary on Ray's life and works.
