A still from Gondar
Gondaris an adaptation of the famous play The Rhinoceros by Ionesco. It is not only an anti-Nazi play but also an attack on collective hysteria that lurks beneath the surface of reason and ideas. It is an absurd play . Jahirul Haque translated the play in Bangla.

In the play, we get the story of an average middle class citizen who stands alone in his choice to remain human, while the rest of the cast transforms into wild beasts which are a metaphor for collectivism.

Kazi Taufiqul Islam Emon is the director and the costume designer as well. Saiful Islam is the set and light designer while Rahul Anand is the music composer.
