A girl is dying in a hospital bed due to complications caused by wrong treatment. All her friends and relatives are there with her. In this poignant moment, an alien spaceship looks at this dying earth-girl. The female alien looks at her boss and asks for permission to go to earth to save the girl from the cruel claws of death. Moved by the pain of the girl, she comes down to earth. However, she is unable to save her. She then makes the girl come to life by taking over her body. With her sensitive soul the alien tries to change the hostile mindset of the people. She tries hard to make the human beings follow their good instincts rather than seek for fulfillment for their evil desires.

This is the story of the sci-fi drama serial Groho Konya. Directed and written by Murad Parvez, the drama serial will be telecast on BTV in the beginning of next year. The distinguished cast includes Bijori Barkatullah, Tauquir Ahmed, Mahfuz Ahmed, Tushar Khan, Azizul Hakim, Srabonti, Sharmin Shila and others. This is a 13-episode drama serial.

Murad said, 'The computer graphics of the drama serial will be very attractive. There will be no artificial or unprofessional elements.' He said that building the set for the extra terrestrial's spaceship is costly but it was not troublesome because it was done on the computer. Under the banner of A New Invention of Making (ANIOM), the drama serial is not just a sci-fi drama, but it will also convey an important message. The director is hopeful that the serial will be widely viewed.
