Honesty is the keyword for Meer Sabbir

Brought up in Borguna, Sabbir joined the children's organisation, Khelaghar, at a very early age. He came to Dhaka in 1994. In 1996, he passed the audition at BTV. It was not until the year 2000 that Sabbir began his career in the media with his first TV drama, titled Putra. Lately, he has taken part in mega serials such as Keboli Rat Hoye Jai and Poribar O Ekti Company, to name a few. "To me talent is synonymous with quality. I have no regrets. I am happy with whatever I have," he says.

Talking about his likes and dislikes, Sabbir says, "On a personal level, I fear dishonesty, hypocrisy, and people who could be a source of danger to others."

His dream? Sabbir has a quick response: "I dream about the media. I see my drama sequences in my dreams." To the question of what profession he would have otherwise chosen, he says, "If not acting, I would have joined the armed forces."
