Kathak dancer Shovana Narayan in town

Shovana Narayan, famous Kathak dancer (the recipient of the Padamashri and Sangeet Akademi awards) from India is set to visit Bangladesh from January 26-February 1. She and her troupe will perform in Rajshahi on January 28, Chittagong on January 30 and at the Osmani Memorial Hall in Dhaka on January 31, says a press release.

Shovana is committed to her art form. An outstanding dancer, a consummate artiste and choreographer, she is a trailblazer in Kathak.
