Actor Keramat Moula celebrated 50 years on stage on October 13 at the Theatre office. In 1956 he began his theatre career acting in Narayan Gangopadhyay's comedyBharate Chai.He was also the director of the play, which was a Shantinagar Club production.

In his 50 years in theatre, he has worked for several troupes such as Drama Circle, Aranyak Natya Dal and Theatre. Besides his performance on the stage, he is a theatre leader. Currently he is the vice president of Bangladesh Group Theatre Federation.

Asked for a comment, Keramat said, " I have had the opportunity to work with many talented theatre activists such as Maqsud Us Salehin and Ashqar Ibn Shaikh. I still enjoy working with younger people."
