Kkusum leaps 18 years ahead, taking a new turn in life

Ek Aam Ladki Ki Khaas Kahani- Kkusum is the story of a simple middle class girl from a Mahara-shtrian family who gradually transforms into a woman of strength and integrity through various trials and tribulations of her life. In spite of all her struggles she pursues her education to move on. She becomes a independent woman and builds up her own career. She is a great support to her family when they are in financial crisis. Her qualification and self-confidence leads her to success.

Kkusum's troubled marriage ends in a divorce. After breaking up with Abhay she wants to live a single life and takes her debacle as a challenge to move ahead. With the appearance of Siddhart, happiness knocks at the door. .Kkusum marries Sidhharth in search of solace and happiness but life takes yet another cruel turn when she loses Sidhharth in a fatal accident. Distraught and lonely, Kkusum finds comfort in the true friendship offered by Abhay and they are once again united.

Abhay and Kkusum's re-union brings happiness to their family. Life goes well until Kkusum has a miscarriage in an accident. All the happiness in the family comes to an end with the shocking news that she can never be a mother again. After the miscarriage, Kkusum decides to find a surrogate mother, Mahi, to give birth to Abhay's child. With the appearance of Mahi, misunderstanding takes place between Abhay and Kkusum. She leaves her family and goes far away. Miraculously Kkusum discovers that she is pregnant again but she decides to take care of her daughter, Kumud, all by herself.

In the film, marriage is not the main focus. The story unfolds the life of a women who selflessly spreads happiness all around her ...who sacrifices endless for her loved ones.
