Theatre in Bangladesh will be closer to the television viewers very soon. About 20 popular theatre productions from Bangladesh will be screened on ETV Bangla and out of these, seven have been adapted by Kotha O Kahini production house itself.

The director of the Tele-theatre Banti says through this concept, several theatre productions will be popularised and TV viewers will get to have a closer look at them.

Dhaka Theatre will organise Selim al-Deen's Joyboti Konyar Mon, Bon Pangshul, Prachyo and Muntasir. Aranyak will be organising Mamunur Rashid and Mannan Heera's Ora Kadam Ali and Moyur Singhasan. Bangla Theatre will hold Mamunur Rashid's Manush and Prachyanatya will hold Azad Abul Kalam's Circus Circus.
