Kumar Biswajit renders Tagore song in Nashtoneer
For Chayanika Chowdhury's TV play Nashtoneer, based on Tagore's work, Kumar Biswajit has rendered a Tagore song Amar bela jey jai shanjhbelatey. The play will be re-telecast on Tagore's death anniversary on August 6 at 8:15 pm on Channel 1.
Added attraction for the audience is a music video featuring Biswajit rendering the song. The song will be aired soon.

This week'sRobibarer Natokof Channel 1,Khunje Berai, will be aired at 8:10 pm on July 30. The play, written by Ahmed Yusuf Saber is directed by popular actor Zahid Hasan.
Synopsis: Dipu and Ranu, though from opposite poles of society, fall in love and get married. Later, due to a misunderstanding they separate. Though they have genuine feeling for one another, neither reveals it because of his/ her egotism. After an interval, they suddenly meet abroad and pretend they do not know each other. Ranu's younger sister, Sanu comprehends the situation and takes initiative to resolve the conflict. She convinces her sister to give up her false pride and mend fences with her husband.
Farah Ruma, Meem, Khairul Islam Pakhi, Soma and Zahid Hasan feature in the play.
