Love for the silver screen

It is not often that our love for something transcends beyond ages and generations. Movie theatres have held that special place in our hearts since the reels were first projected onto the big screen. The ambience of movie theatres, the rows and rows of chairs in a darkened room as families, lovers and lone cinephiles stare intently at the story played out before their eyes is one we are all familiar with.
We have come a long way since the first movie theatre made its appearance in Bangladesh in the early nineteen hundreds. The journey has been one of many twists and the ramshackle years in between is a testament to their new rise.
