Meemangchina staged in Kolkata

Meemangchina, which means a colourful cloth using for the funeral of an aristocrat Garo, is the representation of the culture and heritage of the indigenous Garo people. Rashid Harun directs the play and Dr Afsar Ahmed is the playwright.

The 1 hour 50 minute long play, staged at the Purbasree Stage charmed the audience. Apart from this, the second show of the play Meenangchina was staged at the Aban Mancha of the drama department of the Rabindra Bharati University.
