Discussions foster the development of theatre
"Discussion, criticism and exchange of thoughts are very important for the development of theatre. For this reason we are arranging a 'meet the audience' session on September 30. We will bring in together the directors, designers and actors of Dhaka-based theatre productions," said Hasan Shahriar, the editor of theatre magazineTheatrewala.
The plays selected for the discussion session are -- Binodini, Metamorphosis, Che'r Cicle, Mangula and Shyma Prem -- productions of Dhaka Theatre, Centre for Asian Theatre, Bangla Theatre, Palakar and Prangone Mor, respectively.
Mamunur Rashid, Nasiruddin Yousuff, Kamaluddin Nilu, Shimul Yousuff, Aminiur Rahman Mukul, Faiz Zahir, Kamaluddin Kabir, Ananto Heera and others will answer the questions posed by the audience at the Experimental Theatre Stage, at Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy.
