Movie represents volatile period
Habib Zakaria's screenplay is innovative and deserves plaudits.
With so many limitations technical and financial-- it is a big challenge for promising director Razibul Hossain to deal with such a complex issue. The cinematography is not appropriate to depict the psyche of Professor Kuhel. Also there is room for development of framing, shot selection, directorial composition. And more symbolical and technical effects could have been used.

Acclaimed actress Wahida Mallick Jolly gave an outstanding performance in the role of the mother, who died 10 years back but carries on 'conversations' with her son. Her pale gesture and mild voice successfully represent 'lifelessness'. Rashid Haroon performed the role of four characters. Because of his diversified performance, all of the characters were distinguishable. Runa Khan, as the psychiatrist, performed well. As the central character, Qayes Chowdhury over acted.
