Black staging an electrifying performance at the concert

Nine top-notch musical bands of the country -- Miles, LRB, Aurthohin, Warfaze, Artcell, Black, Shironamhin, Raaga and Striking participated in the day-long musical extravaganza.

The bands pulled out all the stops to show their solidarity with Meraz. Shironamhin made a lasting impression with their folk flavoured fusion compositions. Their performance, consisting of Lal-nil golpo, Hashimukh, Nishchup andhare and Prithibita naki chhoto hote hote, charged the atmosphere and were received with rounds of applause.

Next on stage was Raaga, an urban fusion band, presented Smriti, Asha as well as a couple of popular tracks Kothay and Brishty. The vocalists and other members of the band presented a harmonious performance. The drummer reminisced on Meraz, which touched the hearts of many.

Following that, Warfaze rendered their popular tracks Boshey achhi, Jibon dhara, Mone podey, Nei proyojon, Moharaj and more. The band kept all their fans on their toes with an energetic performance.

Next up was Black with their temporary bassist, Sumon of Aurthohin. As they started their first note, the crowd was hooked. It was a comeback show for the group after their accident in April this year. Rocking the 10,000-strong crowd both off and on stage, their performance was one of the best with songs: '?', Obhiman, Obinoshhwar, Blues and roud and Amra. The show was momentous for Black as they were one of the organisers of the fundraiser.

Amidst much cheering from the crowd, Black gave the stage to one of the most promising bands, Artcell. The group's catchy and mind blowing performance included Onno shomoy, Chile-kothar shepai, Dukhho bilash and Bhul jonmo.

Aurthohin took the stage next. The group has created a new sound in Bangla rock in recent years. Among their songs, Chaite paro, Amar protichhobi, Raat er train and Odbhut shei chheleti were complemented with great guitar 'solo n running' of the icon guitarist Kamal and bass solo of Sumon alias 'Bassbaba'.

The last two bands to perform were LRB and Miles who took the crowd by storm and expressed their whole-hearted support for Meraz. LRB performed quite a few tracks from their latest album Mone achhey naki nai, as well as the popular Ghum bhanga shohore and others.

Miles performed all-time favourites Jala, Kotokal khujbo tomai, Firiye dao along with English numbers Sweet child and Its my life. Their performance was amazing as usual. Miles' performance wrapped up the show.
