Zohar Ali Khan creats a magical moment with the violin

Zohar Ali, specialist in systematic elaboration of raag, melodies and innovative approach in presenting taan drew heavy appreciation of the audience who gave him a very big hand.

Indian council for cultural relations and the High Commission of India in Dhaka organised the musical night under the exchange of cultural programmes between the two countries.

Zohar Ali played several ragas and also orchestrated many tunes on request while his troupe rendered popular songs.

Born into the famous Patiala musical family that generated great musicians like Ustad Amanat Ali Khan, Fateh Ali Khan and one of India's renowned violin geniuses Gawhar Ali Khan, Zohar acquired command over melody and technique in Indian classical music.

At the end of the programme, Rajshahi Nikkon Shilpi Gosthi and Prothom Alo Bandhu Shabha accorded a reception to the renowned musician.
