'National Theatre Stage is our dream'--Tareq Anam

Tareq said, 'We missed the Dhaka Drama Festival-2004 because our group members were preoccupied with in other activities. Now, we are happy to take part in the colourful drama festival arranged by Theatre Art Unit. In fact, the National Theatre Stage is the long cherished desire of the theatre activists of Bangladesh. Our participation in the festival is meaningful in the sense that we have become a means of popularising the National Theatre Stage as a theatre venue. Moreover, I want Shilpakala Academy to co-operate with the Bangladesh Group Theatre Federation to make it a regular venue for staging plays.'
