A new arena for Shahrukh Khan
This year King Khan, as he is known, has delivered two hit Hindi films Kal Ho Na Ho, starring Saif Ali Khan and Preity Zinta and Chalte Chalte with Rani Mukhrjee as the heroine.
Another Shahrukh Khan starrer movie Main Hoon Na was released on April 30 in what is billed to be his third hit in a year. Khan plays the role of an army officer in the film which also stars Naseeruddin Shah, former Miss World Sushmita Sen and national award winning actress Kiron Kher.
Main Hoon Na is about India-Pakistan friendship. Will the current thaw in relations between the two countries help it making a box office success?.
The 38-year-old most sought-after actor in Hindi film industry, Khan is planning to come out with his autobiography by this year-end.
Khan, who is now busy shooting for films by Ashutosh Gowariker, director of Aamir Khan-starrer Lagaan and ace romantic film-maker Yash Chopra, is likely to begin penning his autobiography sometime in June this year and publish by this year-end.
The autobiography, the actor said, would record his experience in the film industry and his views on subjects he is seriously concerned with.
