New TV show Antoraler Kotha

Recently, UNL has produced a 26-episode television serial titled Ontoraler Kotha on gender violence. Intensive research was conducted to develop the episodes, each based on true stories. Prominent personalities and professionals explained the nature of violence and possible preventive measures to the viewers. The TV serial is funded jointly by the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA) and Danish International Development Agency (DANIDA).

The first episode of the serial, called Case Study: Annie, will be aired on Channel i at 6:20pm on October 18.
