Nrityanandan to perform at Tagore festival in Kolkata
For the first time, the Information and Culture Ministry of West Bengal, India is inviting a dance troupe from Dhaka on the occasion of Birth Anniversary of Rabindranath Tagore.Nrityanandanis participating in the 10-day festival, which is held every year at Rabindra Shadan in Kolkata. According to Sharmila Bandyapadhyay, along with Meeta Huq,Nrityanandanwill be presenting a dance drama titledOgo shono ke bajaayon May 12. This play is a combination of recitation, singing, dance and verse play and is based on the flute. The team will be leaving on April 10 to attend the festival.
