Nrityanchal's brochure makes waves
NitritYanchal Music and Dance Company (NMDC) was set up on Agust19, 2000 with the goal to train and promote dance artistes and give them a platform. The institution's broader vision is to develop professionalism among the dance artistes. The group believes, that dance is an integral part of not only our cultural heritage, but also of the entire world and is an art form that transcends language and cultural barriers. From the classical ages down to our present time dance in South Asia has undergone many changes, which are reflected in any living dance tradition. With this view in mind Nrityanchal has published an introductory brochure on the activities and its future plans. Nrityancal's activities are coordinated by Muhammad Jahangir, a front ranking cultural activist and media specialist, Shibly Mohammad a celebrated choreographer, trainer and performer and Shamim Ara Nipa a leading choreographer of Bangladesh.
