Shishu Angana a children's organisation, arranged a show of children's songs, nursery rhymes at the Bishwa Shahitya Kendra auditorium recently. The children's rhymes by Robin Ahsan which were tuned by Kamruddin Afsar, were pleasant to listen to. This arrangement was the third of its kind.

Among other children there were Shasi, Ami, Rasha, Jemmy, Roti , Prapti and others who performed about 14 songs. The children started the programme with the song Shwapno Dekho Ghumer Modhhey, which was a song about expectations and dreams of the children to grow up and become eminent someday. The second song, Amra Thaki Dalan Kothay Ney Na Gachher Khonj, was about the need for conservation of enviroment.

O Bon Bonani Shon was the song of the martyrs of our liberation struggles, beginning from the anti-British movements. After that Jui Chameli Krishnachura was the song about the stultifying childhood of our urban children. All the idealistic songs carried a message for the society. Last but not the least was the song for young garment workers who suffer from deprivation.
