Onwards to the second round
Viewers were able to participate in this round, commencing yesterday. They had the option to vote for their favourite contestant through SMS. All they had to do is send the name of the contestant to "3456" from any mobile phone.
From thousands of applicants in the first round, 120 were selected. Out of these, 30 made it to the second round. In this round too, they had to demonstrate their talent in dancing, acting or singing. The contestants went through an intensive training and grooming session in the BRAC centre of Rajendrapur before joining this round. They were trained under camp counselor Koushiki Nasser Tupa, physical trainer Munna, dance trainer Shibly Mohammad, music trainers Subir Nandi and Kaniz Suborna and acting trainer Dr Israfil Shaheen of Dhaka University.
